Chat Guidelines
Last updated:
Welcome, airport managers! Chat is a place to say hello, share airport tips, and help each other enjoy IdleAirways. Keep it friendly and family-safe. These guidelines apply to in-game chat and player-visible manager and airport names, alongside our Terms of Service.
Be kind and respectful
Treat other players with patience, including new players and people who play differently from you. Friendly disagreements are fine; bullying, harassment, threats, hate speech, and personal attacks are not. Do not impersonate another player, a moderator, or a developer.
Keep it family-safe
Do not use swearing, slurs, sexual content, or graphic descriptions of violence. Avoid offensive jokes and language aimed at upsetting others. If a conversation becomes heated, step away instead of escalating it.
Give everyone room to chat
Do not spam, flood chat with repeated messages, or deliberately disrupt conversations. Advertising, scams, and requests for passwords, payments, or account access are not allowed. Players must not post links, including website addresses and invite links; developers may share official links.
Protect personal information
Do not share your own or anyone else's private information, such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, or payment details. Do not pressure other players to share personal information. Read the Privacy Policy for information about chat data.
Respect moderation
Do not disguise prohibited words or links with altered spelling, symbols, or spaces, or use other accounts to bypass chat restrictions. A message passing an automatic filter does not mean it follows these guidelines.
Messages that break the rules may be removed, and chat access may be restricted. The response depends on the seriousness and repetition of the behaviour; a warning is not guaranteed before action is taken. Moderation may not happen immediately, so please use the options below when you need help.
Block a player or get help
To hide a player's messages from your chat, select their name in chat and choose Block, then confirm. You can unblock them later. Blocking hides their messages for you; it does not send an abuse report.
To report abuse, email [email protected] with the player's manager name, the approximate time of the messages, and a brief description of what happened. Include a screenshot if helpful, and avoid sending unnecessary personal information. Do not repeat abusive content in public chat.
If you believe a moderation action was mistaken, contact the same support address with your manager name and a short explanation so we can review it.
